This book/module is the second level after the beginner’s level and it has been written to assist people who have been yearning to learn Setswana but not knowing where to go. It is made easy for basic communication.

The aim of the book is to guide the learner about the Language and Culture of Batswana. The interesting topics found in the book are about people, relations, places, meetings, events and the filling in of forms.

Apparently reading Setswana is very easy and this book is written in both simple Setswana and English. People can learn on their own or get a tutor who knows the language for the pronunciation of some words.

Lessons are also suitable for schools where children are learning both languages. The book so far has proven to be good to those who used it.

Setswana is spoken in many countries nowadays and people from across boarders need to acquire the language skills without struggling. The modules are written to guide such people. I would like to acknowledge the names of people who assisted me in their various ways and support Wame Molefhe, Seolebaleng Legakabe, Tinah Ramatlapana,my brother Alan Boshwaen and my two sons Eugene and Johan Boshwaen.
