Ferreting out the reason for a deliberate hit-and-run was complicated enough for the detectives of Sunset Investigations, as was finding a stolen show horse before threats of mutilation could be carried out.  Far worse, however, was learning the identity of a territorial werewolf before he slaughtered another hapless person.
