Max attempts to execute his orders, but he and Gabby become the U.S.'s strongest defense. They must work together to expose the enemy--before more innocents die from deliberate contamination; before the economy collapses; and before the country is crippled. Few things surprise Gabby or Max on this mission, but one stuns them. Neither expected to fall in love.
