THE STORY SO FAR:
The United Saudi Arabian Kingdom, USAK, with its capital in Las Vegas has snatched global control from the US, stealing their military robot technology.

The deposed leader of 2045 Kal Al Hakim and his team seek to assassinate the upstart General Fahim bin Macktomb and reimpose traditional values. The megalomaniacal General is out to brain-chip the world's population. His ally the Singularity, a rapacious, self-programming Artificial Intelligence has built a time machine. With this innovation the General plans a voyage to nineteenth century Germany to meet his favorite philosopher, Friedrich Nietzsche.

He will bring Nietzsche back to the modern world, hoping to get a powerful endorsement of his ideas. But Nietzsche had pronounced God dead 150 years earlier, so what will he make of the General's plan to elevate the Singularity to the status of a deity?

Before the General carries out his time travel plans a vast man made tsunami bursts from between the mountains surrounding Las Vegas. Furious demonstrators are momentarily transfixed at the sight of a towering claw of death closing in at almost the speed of sound. From behind the security of his Buckminsterfullerene glass dome the gloating General announces with amplified might the need for yet another New World Order.

Kal, Kong, Rose and the team stand among panicking Las Vegas police and hysterical mothers. Shots ring out as a furious rabble pound on the General's glass barrier with placards and rifle butts. Inside the soaring dome lunch is about to be served. And a toast raised to the new continent of Atlantis.

From where the General's time travel experiment is to be conducted.
