James Baldwin (1841-1925) was an American editor and author. Gained the world popularity as one of the most prolific authors of school books for children at the end of the last century and the beginning of this. Became famous and widely published textbook editor and children's author in the subjects of legends, mythology, biography, and literary, among others. The story by James Baldwin named “King John and the Abbot” rises the problem of rich and poor, popular and unknown, strong and weak. In narrative of the story is a king of England who was the worst king the England ever had and the citizen in the town of Canterbury, a rich old abbot who was very wise and brave. Once upon a time a king ordered abbot to make a visit to the kingdom's palace and make a serious conversation with abbot. The King asked abbot three questions, but they were difficult on the first look. The abbot could easily answer them but only at the end of the story.
