"Heinrich VI." ist ein Historiendrama in drei Teilen mit jeweils fünf Akten von William Shakespeare. Der erste Teil mit dem Titel The First Part of Henry the Sixth ist ca. 1589-90 entstanden, die beiden anderen als The First Part of the Contention of the Two Famous Houses of York and Lancaster und The True Tragedy of Richard Duke of York and the Good King Henry the Sixth ca. 1590-92. Zusammen mit dem Stück Richard III. bilden sie die sogenannte York-Tetralogie. - Although the Henry VI trilogy may not have been written in chronological order, the three plays are often grouped together with Richard III to form a tetralogy covering the entire Wars of the Roses saga, from the death of Henry V in 1422 to the rise to power of Henry VII in 1485.
