Judys Bird Farm, situated in Animal Kingdom, is the tale of birds whom kind-hearted Judy Paulina protected from annihilation by the animals in the kingdom. The birds found her a spiritual leader whom they commonly referred to as JP. She shared her belief in the all-powerful, miracle-working, supreme-being called Maha-Waa. However, her loving leadership was short-lived and she died suddenly soon after becoming their leader. As the birds struggled for their survival, they became embroiled in a bitter conflict with their arch-enemyGatorade the lion, and the citizens of Animal Kingdom. Now that their leader, JP, has gone to eternity, the birds must rely on the lessons of love and service she taught them as they fight for their freedom. The story is an amalgam of religion, politics, history, and government, all beautifully and curiously interwoven. It is a fable that offers an unflinching look at what happens when there is great power without great, spiritual responsibility. The struggles that Bird Nation encounters are reminiscent of the early struggles of Christianity.
