INTRODUCTION of Journey to Purpose
As I have struggled with infertility and subsequently had a
hysterectomy (removing of the womb) at the age of 25,
barrenness or infertility, is a topic that has, for obvious
reasons, interested me since I know that many women face
this issue and are living in shame, secrecy and depression.
The summary of the benefits and curses of the law as given
to Moses by God shows that if the nation were to be
obedient there would not be any barren men, women or
animals in their population. It also shows that God himself
is capable of either shutting up a womb or opening it as he
wishes. Exodus 23:26, Deuteronomy 7:14.
As I try to share my story of challenges, fears and victories,
I hope it will be a blessing to all who read it.
