The granddaughter of a famous life consultant returns to town to take up his job and her first case results in the flooding and chocking of the streets by aggrieved tenants of run-down government apartments. When her identity is discovered, she’s kidnapped and taken out of town, as a section of the elite men of the town fear that she might cause another stir. However, she falls ill due to the drug she was made unconscious with. Then fearing a bad outcome, her captors return her home. Later, at a public event to unveil her identity, she shares the story of her abduction, and accuses a well-known noble of being involved. But, he denies it, after brazenly burning up his palms over some hot coals that had been brought to torture him into making a confession. Subsequently, behind closed doors, he informs her of her need to leave town, per the orders of her abductors. Her obedience meant that she could reunite with her grandfather, a man everyone thought was dead, a man who had been in their custody all this while. In her desire to see the only father she had had in her life, she obliged and left town. Yet in her absence, the people grow impatient for justice to be served, asking for those involved in her kidnapping to be revealed. The governor decides on fulfilling their wish, yet not with the real culprits but a small batch of prisoners. The mayor opposes this but later finds out that the governor had no choice because his hands had been tied up by those behind the abduction. Consequently, he confronts the noble, urging him to expose the culprits. Initially he’s adamant but after a sting of guilt, after being accused of caring only about himself, and not the girl he claimed to love, he agrees, after smashing his glass in anger. Then together with the governor and mayor, they appeal to the highest authority of the land who sends a delegation to the town of the abductors where an investigation is carried out. Consequently, they are exiled and the girl returns home with her grandfather who miraculously recovers as the people come in to see him, just as they used to do when he was consulting for them. The girl reunites with her mother who stays with her grandfather after he’s left town to escape from his numerous visitors. The noble who had helped her, leaves town and starts a family and a simple life, while the girl returns to consulting. But after some months, she goes on a dream trip, to where her family is, along with a best friend. After years of being away, the noble man returns to visit her along with his family, a wife and three little kids.
