There are hundreds of books on Discipleship. Why because it is the will of God for the End-times. However not All of them hit the mark of making Jesus End-Time Kingdom Disciples.
How does God reveal this New Nature in the Human heart? The apostle says it so beautifully in Eph. 2:8, 8, for by grace have ye been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; 9, not of works, that no man should glory. 10, For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God afore prepared that we should walk in them.
It is a mystery, it is a work of God not of works! You must cease to be...your effort will profit NOTHING! The flesh cannot inherit the Glory of the Kingdom...IT IS REVEALED BY GRACE THROUGH FAITH!
