Troubled prince Sigourd Fellhammer finds himself on a mission of rescue as he searches for his beloved Isolde, stolen from his side by murderous brigands. Against his fathers command and leaving behind a kingdom perched upon the precipice of war, Sigourd ventures into uncertainty, travelling to the foreboding Eastern Fringes, a place of fell sorcery at the edge of the known world.
Sigourd's mission of rescue becomes a journey of horrifying self discovery, as dark secrets from his family history reach back from the distant past to ensnare him, and in so doing, threaten the destruction of all things.
