They say that a child is a product of his/her environment. So what are the odds of a boy--raised in a single-mom home, exposure to illegal drugs, juvenile delinquent sibling, fighter of grown men, and lack parental discipline and guidanceturning out to be a responsible, moral, law abiding citizen and asset to society? Statistics show that such child will end-up in prison, use and traffic drugs, resort to violence, and ultimately face a tragic death. Well, all of the above pretty much describes the world that I was exposed to and that I created for myself. But, by the grace of God, I survived the odds and statistics of the death prediction; and through this book, I look back with an out-stretched hand to help others overcome the powerful quick-sand suction of promiscuity and drug addiction. After realizing that the painful consequences of your actions have pushed you to the edge of the cliff, you come to this point in your life that you must make a change or make that final bad choice and fall to your demise. One of the reasons I turned to God is because I knew that I couldnt change on my own. Not only did I conclude that I had a great need for God in my life, but I was hungry for His will, His way, and His Word. And my new life in Christ is evidence that I serve a great, powerful, merciful, and mighty God. This is my testimony:

Make no mistake about it, I am a different man.

I do promise you, Uncle Steve that I will lay aside every weight and the sin that does so easily beset me, and I will run this race with patience. Hebrews 12:1

Preaching and teaching the Word of God to hungry and thirsty people motivates me.

What stimulates me is knowing that something I said or done helped someone to conquer their fears, failures, and obstacles of life.
