Veteran airline employee Sabra Hunter is traveling again, this time returning to Italy to see the Leaning Tower of Pisa. She saw it once before, but only long enough for a quick peek. On this trip she plans to see it in a more leisurely manner, along with a side trip to Florence thrown into the mix for good measure. Accompanying her are two co-workers, Levida and Monique. Join their travels as the three head over the pond with the highest of hopes for a fun-filled adventure.
Unfortunately, most everything that could go wrong does, including a transportation strike, food intolerance, and vertigo. But throughout it all they keep sightseeing and shopping, sharing up-close and personal Italian sights and historical tidbits with the reader along the way.
If you've ever been to Italy--or plan on going "someday"--you will feel like you're right there alongside them, enjoying "la dolce vita." Quite possibly you'll absorb some Italiano while you're at it. At the very least you'll learn by example from these well-traveled girls what to do when life hands you travel lemons: make lemonade and get on with the adventure!
