Essential reading for those who have been hurt by life and are wanting to have a better life in the future, this book takes the reader through what they can do to recover from their hurts and also provides strategies to better protect themselves spiritually and emotionally as they move forward from the present day. Although the book provides the Christian basis for much of the content, it has been written in an easy to read style for believers and non-believers alike. Many do not understand why they have been hurt and in some cases how it has happened. The readers will discover the causes of many areas of damage which we all encounter as we live day to day and will gain a better understanding of how their surrounding spiritual environment works and impacts them. It represents the amalgamation of more than two decades of experience by the author who has been centred on bringing lasting relief and recovery to the hurting especially in the areas of long term damage which seemingly could not be overcome. Chapterised to help those who want to take it a piece at a time, this book is a real help to the everyday person looking for answers to their hurt issues. About the Author: Ian Heming started life in Gloucester, UK. He attended various universities in the UK and obtained a Bachelor of Education degree, followed by a Master of Science degree in Experimental Nuclear Physics, followed by a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Solid State Physics. His working career commenced as a lecturer, a job which he enjoyed deeply. Seeking higher remuneration, he soon left the teaching profession and entered the world of commerce where he had a meteoric rise through the ranks of an international company based in the UK. In 1982 he sought to migrate to Australia and arrived there early in 1983. Over the next 22 years he held a number of senior positions in various companies. He is a recognised leader of people and has endeavoured to leave a trail of blessing in his wake wherever he has been. He has been a company director for nearly two decades and continues to advise company executives. He has travelled extensively in the Asia Pacific region and has set up commercial operations in several countries within the region. On arriving in Australia an unexpected thing happened. God tapped on Ian’s shoulder. He responded wholeheartedly. As he grew under God’s guidance he experienced a plateau which seemingly was impossible to get beyond. It was only through the healing hand of Jesus that he was able to get beyond the plateau, move forwards and continue to grow. Since that time in the late 1980’s Ian has ministered to many hundreds of people both in the church and in the secular sectors of society. He stepped down from his full time corporate role in 2005 and stepped into full time work for God. He returned to his first love which was teaching. Ian continues to write books and present seminars and delights in communicating God’s love to those who will listen.
