From my childhood, I was always a skeptic. A skeptic, in a dictionary’s version, is one who doubts the truth of any doctrine or system: one who doubts the existence of God or revelation. But my skepticism urges me on to find the truth of the matter. So in this book, I will try to reveal what I believe is the truth of that age-old mystery, the Bible. It’s said a thousand-mile journey starts with the first step, so come with me on an exploration of what is written and my interpretation of the Bible.

The title of my book is Gods Number 1, 2, and 3, so let’s start with God number 1 (Genesis).

Verse 1—In the beginning, God created the Heaven and the Earth.

Verses 1 through 10 describe the power of God number 1. I will return to God number 1 later on in the book, so let’s move on to God number 2.

Verse 11—And God said, let the Earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his whose seed is in itself upon the earth, and it was so.

Let’s stop here a minute. At this point, I want to bring out what I believe is one of the keywords in verse 11. It says “fruit trees yielding fruit after his KIND.” Kind is the keyword, meaning “same as.”
