This is the story of two teenagers, Ben and Charlene "Charlie" Krause, living in Coitusville, Indiana in 1988. Charlie is was way out of Ben's league. So, Ben married her right after graduation, before she realized that she was settling. A year later he discovers that his wife has been keeping secrets from him. He follows her, without her knowledge, to her former boyfriend's house where he watches them through a window. Ben is confused by his reaction to seeing his wife's extracurricular activities. He is both angry and aroused.
His wife, Charlie, spots him outside the window. Their gaze locked on one another, but she doesn't stop. She brazenly continues doing what she's doing with her lover while her husband watches. Ben decides not to confront them at that time. He knows that her ex-boyfriend can best him at any physical challenge. So, instead of taking an ass-whipping, he jumps on his motorcycle and heads home to confront Charlie, if and, when she comes home.
Charlie, knowing she's been caught red-handed, and excited about it, is ready accept the consequences of her actions. Can she sweet-talk her way back into her husband's good graces? Will Ben forgive her even after she confesses to having more secrets and that she doesn't want to give up her lifestyle?
