Hot on the Warpath

Chief Standing Antelope's band of renegade Comanche are on the warpath, and word of the bloody terror reaches Bolt's Rocking Bar Ranch when young Veronica Morningstar rides in, in a state of shock. Her father's been scalped, her sister captured as a slave, and she's escaped the bloodthirsty marauders with nothing but the clothes on her back. Veronica begs Bolt to help rescue her sister, but her ordeal has left the raven-haired beauty feeling poorly. Bolt figures he'd better get her in the pink with a stiff dose of hard medicine before they chase after Standing Antelope.

It's a perilous trail to the Comanche camp, and Bolt lends Veronica a rifle, hoping she knows how to use it. When they corner the renegades, the Indians make one last desperate charge, and Bolt knows he's caught in the tightest hole of his life—until Veronica grabs his shooting iron and pumps off a stream of hot lead. With the rout of the redskins and the rescue of Veronica's sister, the two grateful girls show Bolt how to audit their assets with a double entry that would make a bookkeeper blush!
