Reviews:

"Dear Jess! By occasion I came to read some of your writings, which came to me as a fresh and original way of thinking/approach. . .The reason of my writings to you is [that] many years ago, I received a Word of the Lord in my mind, which is remarkably accurate with your vision of books."
-- E-mail from a male reader/customer (2011)

"Based on the three books I've read, I can say that you're a brilliant writer. They are not shallow reads. Your books do not only entertain but they also make you reflect on what is really important in one's life."
-- E-mail from a female reader, 2011 (The Philippines)

"Great characters and a fascinating look at today's culture."
-- Kipp Poe | Review on "The Intern" (YA Sins07, Lust)

Excerpt:

But it was obvious Carlos had a hard work ethic, and Dwayne just had a feeling it'd pay off one day. Did it have something to do with Carlos seeming to have at least some kind of purpose in life too, even if he seemed to be failing at it at the moment? Business in the first few years of operation was an especially tough thing.

Carlos had 'something' to try hard for. Dwayne didn't, not really, if he really thought about it.

Maybe that's why all the fancy wines and dinners were starting to taste a little less fabulous.
