Hit and Run

Airoso Ortega, a very young woman called Breezy by her acquaintances, is pushing a baby stroller through an abandoned garage when she is struck by a car. Awakening in a hospital, she does not know what happened to her baby, though police find the child quickly, along with a bloody knife. DNA identifies the blood as belonging to Donald "Snake" Evans, a known law breaker involved with drug smuggling, gun running, and prostitute trafficking.

Reluctantly, Breezy calls her father, Senor Alfonso del Gato Ortega, a wealthy property owner with holdings on both sides of the Texas-Mexico border, and he happily makes arrangements to transport her to his estate in Mexico. But when Snake discovers that Breezy is with her father, he sees it as a good opportunity for him to get his hands on some of El Gato's fortune.
