Where does your energy go when you die? Does it have a destination? What would happen if it never reached its destination?

Simon Gallagher, a brilliant but self doubting and somewhat klutzy quantum physicist creates a device that can identify and track energy as it leaves the body at the moment of death. His quest leads him to a place called Mullen Falls and the discovery of a secret that has been protected since the beginning of time. Mullen Falls is a gateway to Heaven, only heaven is not what he imagined.

Dr. Galen Thomas, a caring physician and researcher who dedicated his life to helping people, creates a device to not only collect energy from a dying person but to also transfer that energy to another person to extend life. The implications for power, greed and corruption are endless.

The diversion of energy away from Heaven's Gate begins to have grave consequences on the community and the people. Simon must find a way to stop the diversion of energy and to keep the Gate’s secret. The life of those he loves and the future of mankind depend upon him.
