There are many Earths like ours, spread across multiple dimensions. They need to stay apart or...bad things happen.

But sometimes the veil between worlds gets wounded. Sometimes, worlds bleed into each other.
Luckily, there are humans with supernatural gifts who can stand against the resulting monstrosities and heal the trauma.
But not all those gifted with such powers want to.
Some want to see worlds collapse. They hope and watch for the Harbinger, foretold by prophecy to end everything.
