Moyena Ann Kamphuis was born in Georgetown, Guyana, South America.
God’s Infinitesimal Blessings is the story of her walk in this world and tells how she overcame adultery, prostitution, abortion, homosexuality, mental illness, and imprisonment with the faithful help and saving grace of Jesus Christ.
She never went to high school or college, but for over forty years she was used by Jesus to write spiritual songs, poems, prose, sermons, and a special message from Jesus contained in this book. She owes her transformation to our Lord Jesus only and gives Him all the praise, honour, and glory.
She lives in Toronto with her husband, Peter, and son.
My impending death, which is very soon, makes me realize how futile life really is. The author of Ecclesiastes was very solemn and depressing sometimes in his views, but they are truths when you really study them. He says, “The words of a wise man’s mouth win him favor, but the lips of a fool consume him” (Eccl. 10:12 ESV).
Words, words, words, too many words. We think too much, we say too much, and we don’t meditate enough. Words can be like blows to the heart. The wrong ones can pierce a heart or touch a soul. “A kind word turns away wrath,” a harsh word can kill like a sword. The tongue is like a viper. It can kill or maim or it can soothe and comfort and heal. Which are you choosing to use today? Let God take control of your tongue and change you.
Moyena Kamphuis is a worshipper at Morningstar Christian Fellowship where she regularly encourages our ministry staff. She is a woman who has learned much of the grace of God in her life and consequently loves Him much. She has taken the time to candidly record the insights she has learned at the Master’s feet. —Dr. Robert MacGregor, Senior Pastor, Morningstar Christian Fellowship
