The Holy Spirit is the divine author, originator and producer of the scriptures. Jesus gave Nicodemus a simple answer: “except a man be born of the water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God” (John 3:5). The Holy Spirit is God’s greatest gift to the church.
