Charles Montgomery Skinner (1852-1907) was an American writer who published myths and legends collection books. His dream was to make American folklore heritage more glorious. Skinner worked in a wide range of genres, he worked as a journalist and a playwright. To have an opportunity to sell your own soul to the Devil and to receive in return something more valuable has always been a very soulful question. And it doesn't matter to what person such a question is addressed. It might be a poor merchant or an affluent Count, a talented writer or a mediocre musician. The same situation happened to a main character of this story. General Moulton being in the difficulty of getting wealth unintentionally pronounced few words. And then out of nowhere appeared someone. It won't take much time to guess who that was. Have a nice reading.
