God’s sole purpose concerning Mekutu kingdom; a Christian nation in the midst of idolatrous ancient Central Africa is to make her a shining example of the fact that righteousness exalts a nation while sin is a reproach to any people.
Mekutu which in Kutu language means ‘follow the true light’ was supernaturally severed by God from the kingdom of Dimankutu. Dimankutu in Dimansan language means ‘People in search of the true light’. More than 200 years ago, a young British missionary accompanied by a few other newly converted Africans arrived in Dimankutu with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. He looked harmless but mysterious yet the then Dimankutuan king Herodus Lami allowed him to stay. A small Church started by Zechariah Rawlings in a log cabin became the center of a nation wide Christian Revival that swept through the entire kingdom. God himself practically came down from his throne by mighty miracles and mysterious acts despite the stiff resistances put up by the gates of hell.
The very stiff opposition from the King and the worshippers of Asanaga; a goddess of fertility and the national religion of the Dimankutu Empire was ineffectual; not when many erstwhile idolatrous people who hitherto dwelt in utter spiritual darkness saw the Great Light and were ready to die in the rain forest for their new found Faith. Holy blood spilled by wicked and demonic kings made up the Christian Spiritual foundation that led to the severance of Mekutu region from Dimankutu Empire forever.
Back to our present day; God needs a righteous king on the throne of Mekutu whose leaders have turned their backs on the true God. Rev. Godcan Smith is divinely sent to anoint God’s choice as king. King Dally Bally the current Mekutuan King is out of favour with the Most High God and the national Christian priesthood. The king and his wife the daughter of a Dimansan Asanaga Chief priest don’t want to see God’s plan come to pass; they have the strongest occultists and magicians behind them.
