Furious Angel

London, a capital at the height of its banking boom. Over one hot early-millennium summer, the detritus of urban life starts to spill over onto the streets just as the façade of Joe’s charmed life begins to crumble. A string of women are being found, burned to death. The press are heralding the work of a psychotic serial killer.
On this precipice, Joe walks a path between the greed of the city high-life he was destined for and a lust that flickers with the dark promise of something more than the sterile satisfaction of wealth. Joe finds himself woven ever more tightly into the currupted lives of those around him while battling his furious angel to free himself from his own.
Each step he takes seems to draw him inexplicably closer to the killer. Who can he trust? Who will help him when the killer makes the final move and their paths finally cross?
Furious Angel is a story of damaged pasts and broken dreams. Most of all, it is a story about the lengths people will go to protect what they value most. Joe will learn that there is never an easy way out and that everything comes at a price. But in the end, will he be free to choose his own destiny?
Told from the perspective of the victims, this is a psychological thriller in the vein of the author Nicci French.
