The long awaited biography of the English dwarf actor and entertainer who is best known as the man inside R2D2 in Star Wars.

Kenny Baker had been successful in show business for many years before George Lucas selected him for the role and the book recounts his life from a baby up to present day. Having been sent to boarding school following the breakdown of his parents' marriage he literally picked himself up despite his physical adversities and went on to appear in films such as Willow, Sleeping Beauty, Labyrinth, Mona Lisa, Amadeus, Time Bandits, The Elephant Man and of course Star Wars. As part of the popular musical/comedy duo The Minitones he has travelled extensively and the book also tells of the personal tragedies he has had to endure along the way.

The title of the book reflects the amazing rise from being abandoned as a youngster with no idea of what the future held to one day driving his Rolls Royce into the grounds of Buckingham Palace to attend the Queen's Garden Party. This is the story of a truly inspirational man and his struggle to overcome the fact he has never been taller than 3' 8'.
