Ralph Suther is the oldest of the seven children of Fred and Freda Suther. Although born in Kansas, he relates what it was like to start first grade without being able to speak any English. He grew up knowing from an early age that he wanted to be a farmer. In this book he discusses all aspects of his life, not just farming, but his family life, his faith and community involvement.
