The secret here is that Jude and Elize had a chance encounter in the Caribbean as “Joey” and “Anna”. They parted ways after their wild adventure, and now has met each other again without their masks -- and with their significant others in tow. Jude has to make up a story about their being former classmates so Tamara will not get jealous. But that’s not the only secret.

The other secret here is that they aren’t the only ones who’d had illicit encounters. And the other two aren’t complaining at all when they are left to themselves while Jude and Elize “catch up” on old times.

EXCERPT
“Well, shoot,” Jude said.

“I heard that your fiancée lets you step out on her as you see fit and she doesn't mind. Is that fair to say?” Elize asked.

“Does my wife care when I fuck other women, you mean?” Jude said. “Well, it kind of depends, you know. If I were to go f*** one of her friends, or say, someone in our social circle that may want to use it to their advantage and f***ed us both over with some kind of blackmail, then yes, she would care. But -- if I'm at least half-way intelligent about it then no, she doesn't mind that much. Especially if I tell her about it. The more open I am, the more receptive she is.”

Elize took a drink and reached her glass out toward Jude as he finished topping his drink off. He dutifully refilled her glass with a smile on his face.

“What does she think of me?” Elize asked.

“What does she think of you?” Jude repeated. “What does she think of you,” Jude said again, but this time, much slower and barely above a whisper. “Well, she was glad that I found a playmate that I got along with so well down on the islands. She was also pretty entertained when I told her that you and I had never dated and that you were in fact the woman who I had f***ed while I was on vacation.”

Elize's mouth dropped open and hung there for a second. “She knows?!” she said, in complete shock.

“Of course, she knows,” Jude said as he sat down the now empty bottle of champagne. “I told her after our meeting earlier, when she noticed me looking over your way too many times for it to be casual. It seemed prudent to tell her about you since I plan on f***ing you tonight.”
