FBI agent Cara Russo is extremely frustrated. She has been chasing Sebastian Blake for years and has been unable to bring him in. He has spent years fleecing lonely, rich women and because of his charm, Cara has been unable to convince any of the women to press charges against the devastatingly handsome con-artist. They are all convinced that Sebastian will return to them and that they'll live happily ever after.
Frustrated with the women, Cara decides to take matters into her own hands and goes undercover to 'catch her man'.
She travels to Maui to set up her scheme, elciting the help of her cousin, Gina.
Once back on the mainland, she sets her plan in motion, spending time drastically altering her appearance and eventually setting up Sebastian to follow her to Maui. While there, they play a dangerous game of cat and mouse, neither sure which one of them is the mouse.
