Ten-year old Johanna living in County Dublin, Ireland has always been told she's too nosy.
Yet when she sees a man using a strange device on Mrs Shackelton, her neighbor, Johanna must do something about it.

After all it isn't often a girl who wants to be a policewoman-detective-reporter (or as she calls it a "politecter" ) gets to unveil the mystery around her parents as well as her whole neighborhood.
