When world-renown reclusive mystery author Jonathan Wade decides that he's ready to reveal his identity to the world, he decides to do something even more mysterious than what he writes in his novels – he chooses a little-known writer at an even lesser-known magazine to write his story.

Taylor Scott is chosen specifically for this assignment and has to spend two weeks with him to write her article. The only catch? She has to come alone to his farm up in Maine. The whole world knows that Wade is a recluse, but Taylor has reservations of her own about going into this kind of an agreement. For starters, no one knows what this man looks like – or anything about him, for that matter – and no one will know exactly where she is.

Mike Greene runs all-things Jonathan Wade. He knew Taylor years ago and is instrumental to her getting this interview. When she arrives up at the farm and the two of them get reacquainted, and old friendship turns to romance. As their time together moves forward, it becomes more about the two of them and less about the story that Taylor is there to write.

Lines get blurred and communications crossed and Taylor has to decide between writing the story that will launch her career or refusing to print it and having a chance at love.
