When last we left Dita, Pinky and Maria, they were in the midst of a space battle that spelled "Certain Doom" for all of them in no uncertain letters. We can't say whether or not they escaped Certain Doom, because that would be a spoiler, but when next we find Dita and Maria, they have been kidnapped by the Zeskons and installed in the Zeskon President's Alien Harem.
The Zeskons are one of the most powerful interstellar empires in the Beyond, and they want the Anthrax Codex concealed in Maria's body. Dita is just a bonus to them, but definitely another bauble in the Alien Harem.
But Dita's string of non-luck continues. The Zeskons are one of the very few humanoid races in the galaxy whose women go into estrus. Full estrus. They became animals with no desire except sex, whose hormones are irresistible to Zeskon men. And how can Dita compete against that?
