Encounter in the Wasteland

Dameon Writhe was one of the most brutal raiders in northwestern New Mexico. His peers knew little about who he was before the great catastrophe. However, they quickly learned that he was not to be trifled with in the anarchistic new world. After years of raiding and pillaging outposts full of innocent men, women, and children, Dameon saw that the world was quickly changing. The chaos that he had grown to love would not last forever. Consequently, one night after he and his crew of barbarous highwaymen took over a peaceful outpost, Dameon and two other men volunteered to transport their old base's supplies to their new home. After an unexpected betrayal, Dameon plotted to take the most valuable supplies from his crew's former encampment, and move on to a new life as a rich man. However, a man who has committed so many atrocities surely can't escape a just punishment...can he?

This is the first story in a series of tales that will take place in the story's setting. I will be releasing two long novels and two more novella length stories pertaining to this story.
