"From my view, some of the things that made you a great Dad (in our childhood, many of which you still do now) were:
- You always prayed for us
- You valued your children so much that you always talked about us, wanted us around
- You spent time with us and we did a lot of things together (family altar, games, gisting, roasting corn, going out together), which created a family bond
- You were a role model to us, an encourager and driver
- You always sat us down and lectured us on the Word (of God) and other issues
- You treated all of your children out of understanding and not from a(n) old school mindset
- Though you were disciplined with us, but it was done in love and not in too much restrictions (that's why none of us went out to do something different because we did not feel we were caged)
- You gave us a good environment for expression
