In Eavesdropping on God, the reader has the privilege of “listening” in on the conversations, the questions, and the struggles that one man faces that are not unfamiliar to many Christians.

I borrowed the term, Eavesdropping on God, from my pastor Dr. Dennis Brunet. Dr. Brunet, while preaching, will talk directly to one individual and tell him or her, “Can I talk to you for a bit? We’ll just let the others eavesdrop.”

Book Eleven, Gifts of Generosity, is the author’s call to Christians to understand the true mission of the church. We are not only the bride of Jesus, but we are also His body. That means Jesus wants to touch others through us. There is a great blessing that awaits us if we will generously give of ourselves and all that is available to us. King Solomon wrote:

“The generous soul will be made rich, and he who waters will also be watered himself.”
(Proverbs 11:25)
