With the seventh season of 'Madmen' under way, Mial Pagan's new novel 'Eat More Bloody Meat Y'Bastards!' is a very different take on the world of advertising. Whichever industry you toil in, this darkly funny satire of the business behind the ads and the excess will make you laugh (a lot).  Be warned though - you might view your workmates in a very different light after reading it!

Synopsis

When Denis Mahoney heeds the siren call of a recruitment agent he leaves behind his odd colleagues, the unsavoury Freak, unstable Randy J. Feckenburger (the Third) and unfathomable Bob. Denis finds that he's exchanged one group of eccentrics for another but it is the beautiful Karen, with the body of Venus, brain of Machiavelli and voice from Bromley who captures his heart. A few romantic words and he finds himself embroiled in her dangerous plans and grappling with the big questions in life.

If you like Kathy Lette, David Sedaris or Nick Hornby, you will enjoy this book. WARNING: Should not be used for career guidance or recipe tips!

Fantastic!

Loved this book. It's a hilarious satire on the advertising industry, written with real brio and wit. Well done Mial Pagan - a true original.

Do NOT read this book if......

.....you are afraid to laugh out loud often.!

I thoroughly enjoyed Eat More Bloody Meat, Ya Bastards and would recommend it to anyone with a pulse. I am hoping for a sequel ......., who can imagine what happens in the next five years? (or the next 5 minutes with these characters) A super read, highly recommended.

EAT MORE BLOODY MEAT......

A great big whopping high five for Mial Pagan........Absolutely hilariously funny book.....plenty of laugh out loud moments!!!!! Anyone who works in an advertising environment (which i do!) will most definitely be able to relate to this book, and will certainly know one or characters they have had the pleasure of working for or with. I couldn't put it down once I started it. An easy read.....great for any book worm, and also great for anyone going on their holidays......pack this in your hand luggage, you won't be disappointed......It's a must have I guarantee it!!!
