This author is a nurse, and studied biochemistry in nursing school. He admits to having his fair share of hangovers through the years, and set out on a quest to eliminate them. It is common knowledge that alcohol causes dehydration. This author tested the theory of drinking water while drinking alcohol, or waiting until the end of a party night to drink a large amount of water. This practice seemed to help, but he still experienced some rough hangovers. He concluded that a hangover is more than a problem of simple dehydration, and therefore there must be other contributing factors. It is well known that alcohol flushes various vitamins and minerals from the body. This author tried commonly recommended vitamin supplements, and concluded that they very likely improved his general health, but they simply didn’t go far enough to providing effective relief. This author also tried drinking popular sports drinks as advertised on television to replenish the body’s need for minerals and electrolytes. This experiment also did not provide optimum results. With additional trial and error research, and applying a little bit of science, this author has found a new solution. Within the pages of this short book, you’ll discover what he understands to be the missing link that causes hangovers, and what you can do to eliminate them. This author is not endorsed by any corporation and is not obligated to make wild claims for the sake of marketing success. This author however has found a new approach to hangover relief. The solution is safe, cheap, and healthy. This author continues to enjoy a few libations from time to time, but never feels like crap in the morning, and in fact he goes about his day as normal - alert, on point, and with energy.
