When Izzy Barlow passes her driving test, her mum buys her a Fiat 126 that's intent on returning to 1990.

But it's not the car; it's the rather uncool accessories it came with - a pair of fluffy dice that are a little bit different.

When Izzy Barlow passes her driving test, her mum buys her a Fiat 126. It's not a bad little runner, all things considered. Sure, it's a bit rusty and needs a few new parts, but what eighteen year old girl would turn her nose up at her very own car? Of course, she could do without the pair of fluffy dice hanging from the rear view mirror, and she's not pleased that her mum borrowed money to buy it, not to mention the fact that Izzy's wages barely cover the insurance payments. Being expected to ferry her annoying eight year old sister to school every day isn't welcome news, either. Still, it is her own car, and that's exciting.

Or it would be if the Fiat weren't so intent on returning to 1990.

'Double Six' is a young adult science fiction fantasy about that meddlesome old fiend called Time, and the rather unpredictable consequences of trying to take it in hand. For time, as they say, can be a great healer, and as Izzy and her friends are about to discover, it just can't help itself!

"A typical YA sci-fi adventure quickly turns into an intricately woven journey."

What they said about NO DICE (the 'accidental' prequel):

"A quirky but entertaining tale."

"Recommended for anyone looking for something a bit unusual and mysterious with a slight sci-fi touch."

"A great story, with a sneaky history lesson thrown in."
