Dogs: A Deacon Sender Mystery

Deacon Sender is a private investigator with a companion dog named Rooter. His tireless hunt for the most perverted criminals in the city of Indianapolis leads him to some unsavory and dangerous perps. He finds love and much more in his expeditions.

Throughout his long life Deacon always wanted a dog by his side. That is, until he fell in love with his beautiful postwoman. She carried his mail and eventually his heart.

Deacon becomes embroiled in many surreal cases some involving ghosts, monsters, and child molesters. With the help of his friend Carlos, his wonderful wife, and his many canine companions, Deacon became a well-known investigator among the street poor, mentally ill, and helpless. Deacon became a hero, but his dogs were the greatest heroes of all.
