Country musician Tress Rahan is unaware she is the product of a deal made before the beginning of time between the forces of good and evil. When she is shot and transported to the future, her only goal is to return home.

But Earth is no longer the lush planet she once treasured. Pursued by the angelic Host and evil Brood – and viewed as a super-Human weapon by the reigning government – she realizes that her true power and destiny lay not in getting home, but in a plan and purpose much greater than her once simple existence.
