The world is a great and wondrous creation. Man has attempted to quantify much of it throughout his existence. To some extent he has been successful from the simplest to a few of the complicated functions. The essays contained within this book are based on concepts that many have lived successfully by for many generations. Others are not so old, but have been shown to have weathered the test of time. Some of these essays maybe considered controversial in some quarters and they should evoke discussion and inward reflection on the part of the reader.
