When Morgan Taylor finds that she has inherited her grandfather's country estate and rural newspaper, she quits her successful advertising career in San Francisco and returns to her birthplace in Tennessee. There she learns that she has also "inherited" a business partner. Travis Cooper not only shares the newspaper with Morgan, he is joint owner of her land. DEEPER THAN THE BOOMSHAW is set in a section of rural Tennessee that is both beautiful and fascinating in its variety. The valley was the floor of a shallow ocean 500 million years ago. While today there are lovely rolling green hills and sweeping flower-strewn meadows, the area also has numerous underground lakes, caves and treacherous sink holes. The title of this book refers to the largest of these, called a "boomshaw" (an Indian word for "big hole"). It is believed the boomshaw has a never-ending supply of cool, crystal clear water.
While they struggle together to hold onto their inheritance against an unseen enemy, Morgan and Travis will find a love that is Deeper than the Boomshaw.
