Dead Again, Sequel to Dead & Dead For Real

The United States has been devastated by a two-pronged attack that killed millions. With limited resources, the Union cannot be preserved and California has been taken over by gangs setting up a new nation. Crack U. S. Army sniper Katherine Russell (Kiki) and Nick Sabino battle these forces until the US government is able to return and take over the west coast again. A huge bounty is placed on her head because of her success as a sniper, and Kiki must take out the leader organizing rival gangs to form the new nation of Kalifornia. During an attempt to kill him, she is wounded and rescued by a group of refugee kids. Kiki, along with Nick and the children escape to Arizona for her recuperation. The kids are trained as guerilla unit to return to Los Angeles in the battle against these gangs. Unable to kill Kiki, the gangs mount a raid into Arizona to take out Kiki and her family. They seem to be successful and return to their new nation of Kalifornia, The young guerrilla unit returns to Kalifornia to disrupt the unification movement and prepare for invasion by United States.
