Case of the Motel Detail

On a dark September dawn, Detective Dash Deacon is called to an armed robbery case at a dilapidated motel. There is little to go on…until the robber strikes again and again. Dash begins to piece together a pattern. But the longer the case goes, the more violent the perpetrator becomes. Dash realizes that if the case isn’t solved quickly he won’t be hunting for a robber, but for a murderer.

Case of the Old Sisters

On a sunny day in June, Detective Dash Deacon is called to the quaint home of old woman. A brazen burglar had robbed the woman while she was still at home, and even when she walked into the room he calmly continued stealing her belongings. The case should be open and shut. The old woman even got a good look at the intruder. But Dash can’t seem to pull all the clues together, until he realizes the old woman was keeping something back. Something that could change the whole case.

Case of the House of Children

On a rainy January day the cold seemed to breeze in the crazies to Detective Dash Deacon’s office. A woman claimed her new neighbor’s kids were in danger. She could tell because she glimpsed the family when they moved in…and the mother had a “look.” With little faith, Dash knew he had to follow up on every complaint. Soon he learns the woman might not have been crazy after all.

Case of the Bum Check

On a misty morning, a woman walked into Detective Dash Deacon’s office claiming her mother was swindled with a counterfeit check. The mother said she recognized the thief from the movies…or at least that’s what he claimed. But the closer Dash seems to get to cracking the case, the more the mother is adamant that she doesn’t want to press charges.

Case of the Stolen Nativity

Even a holy symbol isn’t taboo to some thieves. On a Christmas Eve morning, Detective Dash Deacon is called to the local cathedral. The baby Jesus has been stolen from the cathedral’s nativity display. The priest and parish have faith that Dash can solve the crime before Christmas Mass, but it’s going to take a miracle to solve this crime in less than twenty-four hours.
