The man known only as a new coworker has never been to his friend’s club before, until tonight. Sage is new in town and he is very different from the usual group of men at the club. Roy has been coming to this club for years, but he never would have expected to see Sage here. Sage is quiet, likes to keep to himself, and he rarely goes out with his fellow factory workers. Roy buys him a beer and Sage seems to loosen up a little. When Sage asks Roy to come outside with him, he is unsure even more about the elusive new man in town. He quickly discovers that this new guy, Sage, has come here for much more than a few beers.
Excerpt:
“I have something to show you,” Sage said, and led him outside.
Roy had expected Sage to take him to his car once again, but instead he led him down the street to an old abandoned yacht that was docked at the edge of the river. Roy wondered for a moment if Sage was planning to drown him and dump his lifeless body at sea, but the thought of another amazing night like the one he had last week kept him from running away.
“Whose is this?”
“An old buddy of mine used to own it but he couldn’t keep up the payments, so he just left it here.”
Roy thought that was odd, but he went along with his friend. Sage led him onto the boat and down into what could best be described as luxury, at least to Roy. There was a sofa bed and a small kitchen and, of course, a bar.
“You come here often, Sage?”
“Often enough. Sometimes I just like to get away, you know?”
Sage poured them both a drink which they gulped. Then he took Roy by the hand and told him to sit on the bed. Sage undressed him and Roy sat there completely naked listening to the water splash against the side of the boat.
