DARE THE WILD WIND

DARE THE WILD WIND sweeps from Scotland and Bonnie Prince Charlie’s defeat on Culloden Moor to 18th Century London and the Caribbean.  Passion flares when Drake Seton, Earl of Stratford, clashes with Brenna Dalmoral at Lochmarnoch.  Shamed by the unexpected  desire stirred by a dangerous enemy, Brenna resists, loyal to her childhood love, Cameron MacCavan.  Drake crosses swords with Cam atop the castle tower, but Cam escapes to fight the British at Culloden Moor.  Wounded, Cam is taken prisoner and transported to London to be hanged, and Brenna follows, determined to save him.  In London, Drake rescues her from a mob, and they struggle against their mutual passion.  They arrive at the gallows too late, and when her brother arranges her marriage to a sadistic neighbor, Drake offers for her instead.  Desolate, Brenna agrees. But Cam has cheated the noose, and when he encounters Brenna at Drake’s estate in Cornwall, he abducts her aboard his privateer.  At his plantation in the Caribbean, she discovers Cam has dark secrets, and his pirate hideaway comes under attack by an expedition led by Drake,  determined to reclaim her.
