Sasha imigrated to USA from Russia when her father was a Russian Diplomat. Her parents were mysteriously killed while in the USA. Sasha  attains her Bachelor of Fine Arts and teaches  art at Columbia.  She is a KGB sleeper, she weds Michael  a college boyfriend  and now an agent in the CIA . Michael is sent on a mission to  capture a Norweigian scientist in Rome who found alien data while on the ice in Norway. Michael becomes a victim of a jihard  while their son is kidnapped by Arabs and taken to Paris. Sasha goes to Paris for the CIA to exchange false data for an exchange for their son. Things go terribly wrong! Michael ends up in hospital and  sends Fredric to Paris to find Sasha who is missing. The Arabs are concerned this new technology  will replace the need for oil. Government agencies including the CIA and the KGB and others want the alien technology. They persue Fredric across the world. Many religions  want the alien information  to die it could effect their doctrine so they hire  assassins.
