“Do you know about the myth of the Soul Mates?”
He shook his head. “No. What is it?”
She frowned. “Do you even know you’re a warlock? That you can do magick?”
“Yes. But I still don’t know anything about a Soul Mates myth.”
She perked up. “Do you remember how you learned about your magick?”
“Oh. Someone came and told me. That would be Adair. She accompanied me to the Council Headquarters and that’s how I learned everything.”
She stared at him, her mouth open. Then she closed them again and her lips thinned. She controlled her temper as much as she could. She did not want to scare anyone else on earth with another earthquake.
