Actress, model, author and mother Wendy Clawsey shares her story on the trials and tribulations of living with a head injury. Sharing tips and recipes from her journey to healing!

"Wendy’s book tells an amazing story about her battle of ‘living’ with brain injury and the struggle to recovery. It is a war that people with many conditions face.  I used the term LIVING because in chronic pain we describe the daily battle as LIVING WITH PAIN.  It is a true struggle because, just like with anxiety or depression, it impacts the patients everyday environment: family, friends, holding a job, etc.  Most people are not aware of this burden the condition brings to the patient and in some cases this burden becomes part of the vicious circle that hinders healing. It brings on more 'weight' to the brain. Wendy reminds us about the daily struggle a person goes through and the impact conditions like brain injury have on the patient’s family and ability to work. There are many poor outcomes out there for people fighting brain trauma's, so it is great to be able to read about one successful battle!  If the tips she give’s can help others heal, even one person, it is worth it."
Guy Chamberland, M.Sc., Ph.D., Master Herbalist, product consultant, and clinical researcher on herbal
                                                     therapies for chronic conditions.

"Wendy’s book covers the canvas of concussion in great detail as she paints a portrait of her long and difficult journey as a victim of post-concussion syndrome. Hers was a bumpy road to recovery. Wendy offers many healthy alternatives to explore and shares her experiences during recovery and afterwards with PCS. She explains that a healthy mind and body won’t prevent a concussion, but can help smooth the road along the way to recovery and help you return to a life that you could find acceptable."
